Who is Melanie Walker?
Melanie graduated with her master’s degree in social work from the University of Illinois. She has over three decades of experience in the fields of mental health and personal development.
Melanie was introduced to coaching and in the late 1990’s. She graduated Coach University in 2004 and began integrating coaching into her private practice. Since that time, she has become a Certified Health and Wellness Coach and received training as a Career Coach. She has served as a faculty member in a Certified Health and Wellness Coaching program and is currently mentoring coach trainees.
When asked about why she has chosen to do coaching she says, “I was drawn to coaching after seeing how effective the coaching process is in helping people create lives around those things that matter most to them, bring them joy and give them purpose and meaning. It is exciting to see the transformation take place. I love working with people and doing this kind of work!”
Believing we are all created with unique talents, personalities, and values that are important to incorporate into our lives, she is committed to helping others create lives that are consistent with their authentic selves.
